Hi all, just wondering what would be next if I didnt get my bfp after this, I have been on metformin since february, had Ovarian drilling, hystereoscopy and lap n dye done in June, If no bfp then I will be doing 3 months of chlomid starting october cycle so come January 2013 if I havent had bfp I would have been ttc for 24 months and tried all that other stuff, so what would be next?
I will be asking my fertility specialist if I have to go back ( september 27 Hoping for bfp befor this tho ) but was just hoping to get some info befor then. Thanks in advance for any replies I might get!!! xxx

hi, i have been told by my FS in North West London that after my lap/ hysterscopy and laser ablation, I have to try naturally for 3 months, then they will put me on the list for IVF - no idea how long the list is !!
good luck
x

charbaby, perhaps your doctor will combine Metformin with Clomid or maybe add IUI to the Clomid.

I have been on metformin since february and will continue to take it with the chlomid in september. Still got everything crossed that I will get my bfp before september x

An IUI with the chlomid might be something to consider. Or, maybe even try doing injectibles with your IUI instead of chlomid. Things seem to be a little more 'controlled' with the injectibles since you are monitored closely and they can change the dosage mid cycle based on your response to the drug.

Whatever you decide, I wish you lots of luck and baby dust!

Well I have a very bad phobia of needles so I am really hoping they don't suggest these to me! :/ I have Just started my 3 rd cycle after having the OP so this is Last chance to get pregnant before I go back In spetember for the chlomid, I will then ask what is the plans for Jan 2013 if no bfp by then. Thanks for the reply x
