What would u call this line?

Ok this is the strange thing....the line came up after 30 seconds..but i'm on the pill and this is my CD7 as in... ive just had my 7 day break from my pill and thought it would be fun to take one expecting it to be stark white....
Any help with understanding how they work?

For ovulation tests to be positive the test has to be at least as dark as the control. So that's a negative.

Yes i know but i was quite shocked to see anything at all...

Do you always have the luteinizing hormone in ur body the whole time then?
Regardless of if ur on the pill or not?
 
For a lot of women there is always a faint line. I always get a line showing x
 
Hello! I use those, and yes when not ovulating always have a line of varying strength. Sometimes almost not visible, other times pretty obvious, especially when dry, but not dark enough to be positive.
 
Negative. Both lines same colour for positive x
