Hi just found this thread and wondering how your getting on Lisa2701?? I have to say I would probably do the same in your position. I would never buy Clomid online but if its from a qualified pharmacist then I dont see a problem. As for being monitored, I am on my second month of clomid and all they are doing to monitor me is having me collect urine samples 1x weekly and freezing them then hand them in after four weeks and they measure the hormone levels to see if I Ovulate. Last month on 50mg my levels were high which indicate I ovulated more than one egg but was BFN. I remain on 50mg this month. However, after this month if I ovulate again then they are not monitoring me at all. I just keep taking it each month until we go back in June. So I wish you the very best of luck. The best thing you can do is use an OPK every day religiously to detect your surge and then get BD!! LOL xxx

Thanks for your support honey. I wasn't sure what kind of reception I would get when I announced they hadn't been prescribed but as always the ladies on here have been so supportive. Like you I wouldn't buy them on line when they could be anything really, but decided to take my chances on not being monitored.

I am now on cd9 so the last day I will have to take them. My moods a little low today, and I have a little back ache and twinges going on, but its no doubt too soon for them to be linked to the clomid. I don't know why but I am confident I am going to ovulate (i do naturally anyways but its irregular and often on cd20+, I do get the odd cycle I don't appear to ovulate though), I just hope DH and I catch it and it sticks. TTC is taking a tole on DH, more than I realised, until a few days ago where he got upset about it and opened up to me (apparently he had told a co-worker (who;;s 11 weeks pregnant) about a MC we'd had and her response was "IF its meant to happen it will", he was furious. Especially given she was so indecisive about if to try for another or not, she kept going on and off the pill as she couldn't make up her mind, and then after a few months off the pill she's pregnant!

Anyways, I am using the CBFM and have started testing already as its only my second cycle using it so its still asking for tests really early in the cycle, had two days of highs so far already. I have also bought boots own opk's just to use to double check the cbfm is accurate so between the two I had best not miss it!! I just hate all the waiting around.

I am glad to hear you ovulated on 50mg, sorry that you didn't seem to catch it but the research does show the the 2nd and 3rd cycles are the most successful so FX for you honey!!!! sending you hundreds of and I really hope you keep in touch with how your getting on!!

Lisa just to let you know sweetie I took them for 4 months without being supervised while taking them as my husband is military and they gave them to me to practically shut me up really.....but it never bothered me even on the 100 mg. so I would say your gonna be fine

I took 100mg cd 5-9 unmonitored and got a BFP , it ended in chemical though.
I think alot of even prescribed clomid in the US is not monitored so I dont see any harm in you taking it .

Just thought i'd update you ladies...

Took clomid days 5-9, currently on CD14 and opk's are VERY close to being positive but not quite there yet, i reckon in the next day or two I will get my positive opk. xx

"most" cycles I ovulate, but I have to odd one where I don't appear to, but I usually ovulate failry late which makes my cycles quite long!!

I have some twinges on my left side today. Normally I don't feel anything on my left side, normally its all right sided when I get twinges. Anyways...
