whats best time to test?

just wondered if you can just take a preg test anytime or is it better in the morning?

I'm emotionally sensitive atm, a neg preg test will kill me.

I guess I've always heard that FMU is the best to test with cause of the concentrated HCG levels in it, but I guess I don't know for sure cause I've never had a bfp
