When did you get "the line"?

My book says an old wive's tale is that: if the line is from pubic area to belly button, it's a girl. if it goes past your belly button, it's a boy. All I know is mine is very obvious. LOL

I don't have one at all. Do I still get a baby?

I noticed mine around 20 weeks, and its gotten darker as time has went on. Mine is from almost one end of my stomach to the other

Mine made its premiere appearance between 11 and 12 weeks...couldn't believe it as I'm pretty fair skinned. It's from my hair to my belly button and about a quarter inch thick. I liked it because I hadn't had an ultrasound at that point but I figured I wouldn't have gotten it if baby wasn't perfectly fine.

Does the excess hair usually appear at the same time as the linea nigra? Because all I have is a line on my skin. I hope this means I get to forego the hairy belly!

I've gotten some extra hair but no line, so I don't think they always go together

I got the line earlier on at about 16 weeks when things started to be noticeable... It was all of a sudden just there one morning!! I read the old wives' tale about where the line extends to and mine is all the way up to my boobs... Coincidentally, I'm having a boy

Im 19 weeks and there is no sign of any line even though all the pregnancy books say at around 14-18 weeks the line appears. so not everyone gets it??? thats good, its something Id rather not have and I do not have a sticking out bellybutton

I got it around 30 weeks with my 1st, so thinking it will come up similar time again, how long it take for urs to go after bub I had mine for also 6 months b4 it went away
