when do you take tree down?

I put mine up On Christmas eve and take it down on Three kings which is January 6th.

Same - my oh thinks i'm mad coz his family put theirs up at the beginning of Dec... this is just the way it's always been done in my family

I know,everyone keeps wondering why I don't have the tree up mid-December but it's also the way it has always been done in my family and I'm sticking to it.

I am trying to wait until Jan 1st, that is when we normally take the tree down. But we have 2 kittens and it seems like the Christmas tree has turned into a huge cat toy! It must be fun, because they don't care about getting sprayed with the water bottle.

Ours will come down on New Year's Day - it went up on Christmas Eve, and I'm now itching to get our living room tidy and organized and back to normal again.
