Mine hurt like hell (but latch was fine) for about 6 weeks, but it honestly gets better! Good luck! It really is worth it in the end!

lanolin in the beginning - but after a bit ( can't recall how long as it was over 2 yrs ago for me ) the pain subsides. It is a toughening up - but it will get better. once you get through that part - you will find you absolutely enjoy the experience - well I did anyhow Congratulations!

OH and I just remembered - It did STING in the beginning - at the first let down - I remember that now - kind of like a sharp stingy feeling - but then it was fine after that. I think that passed pretty early too though..
