When is/was Your Anatomy Scan?

I will be 20 weeks and 2 days and it feels like that's late. I thought it was meant to be between 18 and 20. Maybe I'm just wishing it were earlier for y own sanity but isn't there a reason it's earlier?

The window is 18-22 weeks. Mine was 20+0.

I had mine at 21 weeks with my first and 19 weeks with my second.

In the UK people often call the anatomy scan the 20 week scan because it's scheduled for approximately 20 weeks. Mine is tomorrow when I'll also be 20 weeks and 2 days!

Mine was 20+2, between 18-21 weeks here in case they need to redo

had mine 20 week 2 days - it's best around this time as more developed, and can tell you gender more correctly, if you chose to wait for this scan to find out! xx

Mine were at 19+6 and 20+something but also had that one re-scanned at 22 weeks.

I already know I'm having a girl thanks to NIPT but I'm super anxious to make sure she's healthy!

Mine is 20+2 as well. They always ask for 18-20 but I've read that 22-23 is actually more accurate for development issues, not sure how accurate that is but if they find anything off at 20 weeks they want to rescan in a few weeks anyways... so I guess that would be 22-23 weeks?

Early anatomy scan was 16 weeks for me, followed by another one at 20 weeks, had an heart echo done at 22 weeks. But, I'm also high risk so that seems to change a lot of things. @.@ it was the same with my first as well!

I'm high risk as well but they are treating me like a normal pregnancy so far.....my anatomy scan IS with the high risk maternal fetal medicine clinic so it will be a very thorough u/s.....but so far that's it.....

I'm not sure if it's a location then, maybe? I'm in Pennsylvania and that's what has been going on since my first pregnancy with my son, and everything has been the same with this one minus they added some growth scans towards the end because my son was 9lbs.

I have normal visits with the OB but I saw the specialist WITH maternal fetal medicine as well that scheduled all of my appointments with them. o.o I'm surprised then that that they didn't do an early one. I've had scans at, uhh, 8weeks, 12 weeks, 16, 20, 22 and in the 3rd trimester once a month for my daughter's weight. Curious! I would call and ask not sure if it's just something in my location or not.

Sinclair that's a crazy amount of scans! What are you considered high risk for? They're just checking growth every time?
