when to buy veg and fresh stuff??

i had planned on going shopping on thursday evening to but all our veg and fresh bits for xmas day but i was just wondering, do you think its too early to go on wednesday night instead??

no i've been and got all ours today and the best before dates are all after christmas

we're going to tesco tomorrow, m&s on thurs not too early, veg will keep for 2-3 days easy.

I've bought mine! I bought veg that will last, like parsnips carrots etc and will pick a couple of bits up Xmas eve as I'm collecting my turkey then, but nothing that will matter if I don't get it
