Hello everyone! My husband and I are sort of in between ntnp and ttc. I don't test for ovulation, but I definitely pay attention to my cycle so we can BD around ovulation.

Anyways, I tend to have 16 days between O and AF and I wondered if it changes when the best dpo to test is? If one is testing before AF is due? Anybody else out there with longer LP?

My gut says testing on 14DPO is the same as testing the day of your missed period for other women.

This is our first official cycle for #1 and I'll be 12DPO tomorrow.

I always have a 15/16 day luteal phase and I got positives on 8dpo both times. I don't think how long your LP is affects when you'll get a positive. Depends on how long it takes to implant and whatnot. But yes 14dpo would be when in a "normal" cycle AF would come.

thanks! I have had some cramping the last few days but that can be normal for me too. Of course this time I swear it feels different :p

cravings and massive hunger tonight are making me want to test tomorrow!
