When to test

I want to test on New Years Eve so I can surprise OH if it's a BFP but I'll only be between 9-10dpo and now I'm wondering if thats too early. last time I was pregnant I didnt find out until 6 weeks so if I am will there be any point or not?

I've been stalking charts on fertility friend and I've seen positives as early as 8 dpo. I'm going to be 7 on New year's eve and even though I think it's too early lol, I'm probably not going to be able to resist.

I know I wont be able to resist, not on NYE haha. Im just worries it took me until just gone 6 weeks to get a strong positive x
