At the moment my lo really only wakes for feeds then goes back to sleep. she was 6 weeks prem and will be 8 weeks old on Wednesday. When can I expect her to be awake a bit more?
Thanks:flower:

Well my little guy is 3 months corrected, and he's now awake for a few hours from mid morning to mid afternoon. Then a few hours in the evening. He started being more awake around 2 weeks ago. His schedule is still very sporadic though. He can wake up every 2-3 hours at night, or sleep through a whole 6-7 hours, even 10 hours once

These little guys need a lot of sleep, more than a normal baby, so the neonat specialists told me.

My baby is 5 months 2 and a half months corrected and she still sleeps loads! We put her down at 7.30pm and then she doesn't wake till 4.30am we feed her thn she goes back to sleep till half 8. She then wakes for a couple of hours and goes back down for a nap at 10.30am till lunch time. She then naps from half 1 till 3 and then usually again for an hour at 4pm. Gosh that seems a lot writing it down is that normal? Should I be trying to keep her awake more?

My baby is 7 weeks old, born 10 weeks premature. He wakes up every 2nd day by the looks of it! I got a full hour of him awake today and it was so nice :) just can't wait for him to be more alert, rather than me sitting in ICU just watching him!

my little man was 6 weeks early and he will be 20weeks on sunday and still sleeps most of the day (lazy bugger hehe) xx

I call my lo a koala as they sleep for most of the day too!
