where do they do stretch and sweep?

i should be having a stretch and sweep this friday.. ill be 40+5 and it says in my notes, offer stretch and sweep at 41 weeks.. do they book you in for this at the hospital? do it while your in the surgery? i cant believe how slow this week is going, its so frustrating!

Ive got mine booked for next Thursday so Ill be 40+1 and the midwife booked me in for it at my last appointment when I was 37+6. It depends where you are as to when the midwife offers sweeps. Id say ask for one at the appointment because you could just say that you class this appointment as your 41w appointment

Its done at your surgery as well. So just ask the midwife while your there and she'll be able to do it there and then if she agrees

ive got my MW appointment friday, but ill be 41 weeks saturday.. i just hope she offers, or if i ask she will say yes!! but my MWs lazy anyway! lol. thanks!

I had my sweep at home, but if I had needed another it would have been done at my doctors surgery.
