Where To Buy Yams..

Anyone know where i can get Yams from? and how to cook them? and any recipes?

I heard they are really good for balancing hormones etc.

Hiya,

A yam is also known as sweet potato, which you can get with no problem in your local big super market. They have a reddy skin, lovely orange in the middle. My DD loved them when she was weaning. I only ever roast them now, they are soooooo delicious and sweet! Peeled, no need for blanching or cooking them in water first as they aren't as dense as normal pots, roast in some garlic flavoured oil, with sprinkling of salt and black pepper
