Just wondering were most people's waters clearish or did many have meconium in them? I've read you can't use the midwife-led unit at my hospital if your waters have meconium in them and I was wondering how common this is?
Mine started clear but have turned pinkish... but I think thats because I did not get my show before they came.. well come... I'm still leaking...
so a good 12 hours after water first breaking and contractions have slowed right down... bah... just want baby don't want to be induced on Wednesday.
I didn't have a show before either, so that might be why they were pink. Don't they have to induce you within 24hours or something like that after your waters break? I remember reading the literature, but my contractions started while we were finding out what was going to happen next. Good Luck and hoping things get going for you. Are you walking around? That might speed it up!
I've been booked for induction on Wednesday morning if I can't get this going myself . It was going really well and I was having strong contractions every 5-6 mins.. then they stopped... have walked about 2 miles and about an hour up and down our stairs. Had to stop simply because I was exhausted from being awake since 2am this morning.. had about an hours sleep and now awake so seeing how it goes....will walk for a bit and maybe have a warm shower...
Oh stupidly told all and sundry my waters had gone and now everyone keeps calling and he is asleep and ignoring them.. grrrr..
