Who do you buy for?

We're really going to struggle this year for presents as our baby is due around Christmas and has already cost us a fortune but we've said we'll buy everyone something even if it's just a little bit - better than nothing

So, we're buying for:

My mum/dad
OH's mum/dad
OH's Sister
My 3 brothers and their OH's (will probably buy them something as a couple, no idea what, mind!)
4 nieces/1 nephew
My Uncle
OH's Grandad

Probably doesn't a lot but they usually like 'expensive taste' stuff which i simply can't afford this year so they'll get what they're bloody given!

We used to try and get a little gift for all our close family (mum&dads & siblings) but now we've got olivia and most of our siblings now also have children we have all agreed that this is year we will only buy for the kids! and token gifts for those without kids!

This lot will still probably cost us a small fortune but we've saved a lot by cutting out all the adults!

Boots or anywhere doing 3for2s are good for pressies!

luisa's goddmother (my bestfriend) the others are siblings so we just get them a little something extras too

we buy for each of the above from us.. we then buy for each of above from luisa!

we have done ours as we know we will be skint near xmas as my mat allowance has just finished and found boots 3for2 a god send!

-OH's sister (gift certificate for some books on tape, she's blind and loves listning to books)
-OH'a best friends (his two besties are married to eachother, so will probably just get them something for their new house)

Luckily with my cousins we get together and do a holiday party and do a secret santa type thing for the kids, so we only have to get one gift for one of the cousins.

DH and I will exchange gifts and we'll either bake or make adult gifts and then we buy for the kids in our family. Money has always been an issue in the past and even when money isn't an issue it's just so much easier to buy for the kids only. This year, we have so much we need to do for ourselves that we'll be doing kids only this year and baking brownies, cookies and/or fudge for the adults.
