Oh our light switch on is laughable it's so bad! Local businesses do a float parade through the town (think small vans with the back doors open with Xmas music blaring from them and a bit of tinsel!)
We don't even get a tree. The council stick lights on a big tree we have in the middle of a carpark in town (yes it is that miserable). the tree is so big that they can't reach the top so the bottom half is lit up and the top is bare. One year they decorated down one side and left the other half empty. It is the worst I've ever seen! When the twins are older we'll take them to Belfast coz it's usually pretty good

its just the people who are in the local pantomime that put ours on, never have any celebs, even the ones in aberdeen dont have a celeb turning them on just some lord provist or something

We went to the Petersfield one last week! We had..................... the town mayor!

although one year we had Nicolas Cage!
