why does one breast produce more?

My left boob seems to produce more milk with a fast/heavy let down. It always gets lumpy, sometimes painful and is always bigger. My right boob is the boob she prefers to fall asleep on. I do try to offer it more to increase supply but as my left gets engorged I need to relieve it. If I pump I get more yhan double the amount on my left than right.

Just how it is, human aren't symmetrical. It'll get better, once they're older and can handle the flow, they can switch favorites too.

my left has always produced more too. dont worry too much, we are at a year today so hasnt,been a major problem

My right produces significantly more then the left, not to worry though its totally normal!
