Why does the pull-out method get such a bad rap?

My husband and I used the pull out method for a few years before we got married, always correctly. Never got pregnant. We continued to do that after we got married, then didn't pull out a few times and I got pregnant. Since my son has been born and we started dtd again in October of 2012, we've STILL been using pull-out for almost two years and we still haven't gotten pregnant. So....I don't know, I see people online who swear it doesn't work at all, but obviously it's been working for us for years, and I know I can get pregnant because it only took us about three months of being careless for it to happen.

I don't like using condoms because they irritate me for days afterward and I hate the feeling. They irritated me so much when we used them that I even told my doc I might be allergic to latex so she didn't use latex gloves to do cervical checks!

Anyone else?
