I'm due in June, and am wondering whether or not baby will need an all in one pram suit. I live in the uk so weather can be highly unpredictable, I don't want LO getting cold, but don't what th
To overheat either.

Hopefully not in June, although you can never be sure in this country I suppose! I've been debating whether we'll need one with a due date of end of March. I found them such a pain last time (November baby and we had loads of snow when she was about a week old) that I'm planning to just go with layers and a blanket for going out and about.

i'd say to go with layers and a blankie as well tbh - if the weather's that bad you'll have a rain cover on the pram anyway which will shield bub from wind and rain anyway :)

I would say layers and blankets as well if the weather is bad. My DS and DD were both winter babies (January) and we had snow within a week of them both being born so I'm looking forward to finally having a summer baby xx

Only if there is some freak weather.

Even a really really cold day in summer is gonna be 12degrees, so a blanket and layers will be fine.

Better still wear baby in a carrier and wear a coat over both of you. So so much better for baby than being put in a cold pram in a puffy suit.

I'm due June and have no plans to buy a pram suit for the first two stages. Layers and blankets will be easier to manage. I'll maybe buy one 3-6 months though

My son was born July 7th and I wasted my money buying one he was in it once coming home I wouldn't recommend one for a June baby x

For October time when it gets colder we had an oversized fleecy onsey which was nice and snuggly but not too puffy if u get what I mean? Oz was born in June and all we needed for the first few weeks were light coats and cellular blankets. I think they're cellular blankets...? X

I wouldnt put them in a pramsuit in june.. Just keep plenty of blankets and layers on them during cooler nights.. but definatly not a big suit.. they will over heat!

Thanks ladies. Cellular blankets I'm certainly not short of, or fleecey ones so I'll stick with them.

Id say no. My son only started wearing one in december or so.
last summer was warm and my son had on a vest, onesie and cardigan, hed have been roasting in a pram suit

DD was born in Feb and even though it belted down with snow that day, I think they still get to hot in them things! I only ever used the thinner fleecy baby grows while we were at our caravan (Layla was 8 weeks+) and even got quite warm in them! She never slept in them though! Its only now (she's 2 tomorrow) that I put her in one when its cold out or raining haha :P I got a beautiful grown up snow suit from laredoute with no feet parts so she can walk as normal, so I went 2 years without wearing them! Ive recently put all 3 of my thicker snowsuits 1 newborn and 2 0-3 up on ebay, their brand new! I wouldnt advice people to buy them as gifts either lol <3
