yeah we are going to have cocktails, go shopping happydance and then have dinner at Ruth Chris. They have reservations for us on the patio that include Marlow..........I couldn't be more pleased! I've asked for a puppy snuggly to wear her when we're out since her and I enjoy our outings so much. Sod it (did I use that proper??? : ).......if I'm gonna be a childless 35 year old lady then I'm going to be a WEIRD puppy wearing mama!!!!

Titi- I am sorry hun. I am right there with you... the red kootch monster got me yesterday and I am coming up on 3 years in January.

I think I am going to give it my all this month.. maybe even use opks twice a day. I thought not trying would make me feel better this month, but it just made me feel lousy.... especially since af was a little late. I can't imagine what it must feel like to see two pink lines on a test... every test there is always one line... it is so hard. This week was so hard because most of the 15 women in my life that were pregnant have pretty much had their babies in the last couple months and every time I am around one of them someone has to ask "so when are you ever going to have a baby?" it hurts so bad.

Wow-hun I'm sorry about af for you.......I didn't realize you were also hitting 3 year mark in Jan. : ( at least we'll be ttc year 2 11 month cycle buddies!

Somebody asked me today if I have kids. I hate it. At my age it seems like I mustn't want them.

I agree tropical weather is pretty nice for the majority of the time but it really ruins xmas season and I miss snow so much-haven't seen any since 1996.

I have not poas yet, but I may buy some today, if this crazy heavy winds and rain ever let up! We should be having snow by now, not 60 degree temps and rain! Its december! Blah......lol

I am totally confused about my temps on FF. Most of the time they idle at the same temp. I have a new thermometer and this is only my 2nd cycle temping, so surely its not the thermometer???? Could I have an issue where my temp is idle most of the time???....I dont feel as hopefull as I did with my temps being not so high......

Hi Tryfor-I just stalked you and actually I think your chart looks pretty normal for the first week of your Luteal Phase. Usually the "high" temps don't come until the second part of the LP-sometimes even the last few days......because they are indications of super high progesterone which wouldn't be happening unless you had implantation. : )

I took an opk two days ago at 6dpo and the second line was 'almost' non exisitant. I took an opk today at 8dpo, and the second line is at least several shades darker than the one from the other day. When I got pregnant in April/May, my opks got very dark along with my hpt's. I know I know.....I am crazy and shouldnt rely on such things.....PLUS I am only 8dpo.

I told you guys I cant handle the TWW!!!

Beautiful.....if I do get a bfp this cycle, I am so buying that bib and wrapping it up for DH. Wishful thinking!

Hi all! Dh is doing well. He had his defense today for his portfolio for his masters. He did well, and now he is done. He will have a masters in education! I am so proud of him!

So the other day we got a package in the mail from dh's aunt and uncle. It was two fertility/natural family planning books. They are both really religious. I am Catholic, and so are dh's aunt and uncle. But they are way more religious then I am. There was also a two page note. They experienced infertility, but now have 5 kids. The note was very religious and basically said if I just "turned it over to God" I would get pregnant.

Don't get me wrong, these people are super sweet. I think they really wanted to help us out. But I was a bit put off by it all. And dh is upset because he finally let his mom know a bit about what is going on with us (he told her about the surgery and what it was for) and now he's worried that his mom blabbed all our issues to everyone.

We are headed to dh's hometown for Christmas and now I'm worried we're going to a whole bunch of unwanted advice or sympathy from dh's relatives. Am I wrong to be worried?
