Just popping in to let you know I'm still hanging around. Still waiting for dh's follow up appt sometime in Feb, and who knows where we will go from there. Just having a really hard time lately with all this.

Oh Lucie :sad: I am sorry love. This journey is quite a difficult one. Wish it was easier and quicker! I think about you and DH every so often and I am sending positive vibes your way.

It makes us wonder why such good people have such a hard time getting pregnant and/or maintaining that pregnancy.

Hi girls! Well apart from not being pregnant I've had a great first week at school. I have an awesome class with beautiful children and a fantastic teaching partner. I am feeling really good about the year and am now just keeping my fingers crossed I get to keep my class! As promised here are some photos of my room before all the kids came on the first day. It's a little bland at the moment but won't be for long once I start putting up the students work and art on the walls and such. I also have some more hangy things to put up but haven't got around to putting them together yet!

Wanting - hiya hun, your more than welcome to join in. There has got to be good news for one of us soon, we have all been hanging here in TTC for far too long!

OH and I went back to the doctors today, it went ok, he was very understanding and didn't try to fob us of and get rid of us, he wants us to go for another SA and another blood test for me, but has put us in the unexplained category, as such we will have to wait another 4- 6 months before getting referred to a fertility specialist. That will take us to 2 years of ttc, I am dealing with it ok now, beter than i have been, although i definitely have my ups and downs.

Ejay, that just sucks having to wait that long. I hate the unknown, I hate not having any control over ttc. That is the part that I struggle with the most. I have gotten where I am today in life by sheer determination. If I have wanted something bad enough in the past i work hard at it and don't give up until I have achieved it, but with ttc I have no control whatsoever. Shouldn't we just be able to conceive because we want it so bad? grrr

AFM - I think it is O day! Dh was building a website for a friend last night and lost everything he had been working on. He got very angry and I thought 'well there goes another month, no way he will bd now' and was very sad, but he was able to fix it and came to the party!

I've got two appointments scheduled now. Tomorrow I'm doing Day 3 blood work and on THURSDAY I'm doing my HSG!! Just hoping the weather doesn't keep me from being able to make it. We're getting ice right now plus supposedly at least a foot of snow tomorrow....

I wanna go back on a cruise!

Wantingagirl, of course you may join! I have been ttc since July 2009 after 4 years of ntnp......all of us in here are 'at least a year ttc' so we understand your pain and will be here for you and rooting you on!
SG, I am facing the same crapola today with my FS appointment. I have it this morning in less than 2 hours, and it's icy outside! Eeeck!.....I hope the snow stays away for you so you can go to your sppointment and back! , Your crusie pics are lovely!
Ejay, , sucks to have to wait a few months to be referred, but hopefully some testing again will help show anything, IF there is anything to worry about. Maybe just getting an 'internal' exam (down there) will clear you our at O time! DH and I are in the unexplained category right now until his SA gets done. Then we will go from there. Good Luck!
Soph, Oh No! Another storm???....I hope you will be ok! Haven't heard from Moon in awhile, makes me nervous as she is also out there in Austraila! I kow she is not ttc anymore but I am still nervous for her! WooHoo for O day! Swim spermies swim swim swim.....reach your destination!

AFM, I have been sick for almost a week, with a sore throat, sinus infection....gack.....I am due for af today or tomorrow or whenever she shows.....I have made the decision to go to the RE against a few other things in my life. But we will see how it goes. Maybe 'just' testing is what will do the trick... I have my appointment at 730am my time here and its already 550am here, so less than 2 hours time! Its just a restart appointment, so probably no testing today. But DH has been fore-warned to do his SA this week, but not yet because we have to dtd today and then have him go 2 days later....havent bd'd in a whiiiilllleee.

Anywho, I am off to get ready for the day, make coffee, RE appointment, then work........blah......Love Ya's!


P.S. Maybe we should try thinking of a specific plan for each of us and try it?....Ya know like.....Softcups (thread), Soy Isoflavones (thread), Clomid......SMEP, Grapefruit juice......standing on head til one's face turns colors .......

Crap! Appointment got cancelled due to weather......Hope everyone is well!

AWWW, that sucks tryfor! I made it to my appointment. I went really early and was sitting in the waiting room when one of the nurses called to say they weren't sure if they could do it today due to a courier service possibly not being able to take the blood to the private lab for analysis in time. Anyway, they figured out that they could make it so I had the blood drawn. ONE DOWN!!

I've already tried SMEP, Softcups, Soy Iso, Vitex, Pineapple.... I'm hoping for clomid soon. SOMETHING to bring some hope back! I am hoping the HSG will give me a 3 month fertility boost...

Soph, hope you get through the cyclone ok! Australia sure is getting its share of water, isn't it!
