Wishing, wanting, waiting.....TTC for a year PLUS!

Yes.....I also am looking forward to the clomid and hsg! We can do it together!!!

I am very excited you still got to your appointment! Soemthing is better than nothing! :winkwink: Hope your results are superb!

Squirrel - so excited for you getting your tests, really hope the weather holds out for your hsg xx

Tryfor - what a bummer your tests got postponed xx

Really hoping everyones tests come back fine or that it identifies something that is easy to resolve

My doc explained to me yesterday that they still really didn't understand that much about TTC success. He explained that it was like having a room full of women all trying to roll a double 6 on 2 dice, some would get it in the first try and others would come back month after month but eventually the odds would say that they would roll a double 6.

I said that sounds bloody typical for me, I have always been the one that never wins anything in a raffle but the person who sits next to me wins 3 or 4 things. OH pointed out that he always managed to do quite well in raffles, so heres hoping we roll our double 6 soon:happydance:

Here's to hoping we all roll a double six soon!!!!

I second that notion! Double 6's!!!!

What a way for your doctor to describe it though, I mean really  Doesn't seem to give anyone much hope, except for those really lucky ones.....

:/

I too am hoping for double sixes for everyone! :)

Dh's follow up SA has been scheduled for next Monday. Then we'll have an apt with the dr hopefully not long after. Please send good thoughts/vibes our way!

Most definitely, Lucie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you get fantastic news!! (And a BFP soon!)

Good Vibes being sent your way! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Start my clomid tomorrow CD3-CD7, 50mg.....25% chance of pregnancy each time they sai, and they said I 'should' be pregnant within 3-4 months. HSG next wednesday at 315pm, sa either tomorrow morning or monday morning, IUI day after positive opk......I am exhausted. Periods make me tired. Goodnight! <3

Thank you all for the welcome back!

I really did hope I would see you all with BFP, lets hope we get them very soon.

I hope Emily is ok, I last heard from her a couple of weeks ago on FB but dont know when she is coming back.

ASFM I am 5 dpo and as per usual this 2ww is killing me. Yes how hard to take about the explanation of ttc with a dice but so very very true. Everyone deserves their BFP and dont get how so many lovely ladies on here who throughly deserve it are finding it harder to get there. Wheres the justice in that.

Hope you are all well :hugs: At least its friday xxx

Hi everyone!!! :hi:

Bfp's all around! :dust:

I am feeling good about this cycle because I am in the care of our fertility specialist. I finally got tired of my ups and downs of doing it myself.
My husband had his Semen Anaylsis done yesterday, and I some kind of labs drawn (didnt pay attention because they always come back good). We get his SA results on Monday afternoon, and my labs tuesday. So excited for my HSG on wednesday and nervous as well. SG, did it hurt after your hsg???
IUI is the follwong week (depending on normal ovulation)!!!

I am so excited and hopefully I can fully relax and leave it up to them and God.

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend! My birthday is tomorrow and hubber's is taking me out for breakfast and dinner at a new bar and grill! <3

No, my HSG didn't hurt at all! I took 800mg of Ibuprofen a couple hours in advance and had no pain at all. Just extremely mild cramping down low while the procedure was going on and nothing after that. I've had much worse menstrual cramps. The anxiety before the test was worse than anything. So try not to worry at all!!

Wow, you're doing IUI the same cycle as the HSG! That's awesome! I wish I'd asked for Clomid or something this cycle... But hopefully next cycle we'll do something -- anything! :)

Just thought I would drop in to say hey to everyone! I hope you all are doing well and think of you girls often. I hope that all of your hsg's do the trick for you... my doctor said that if I had it done I could be more fertile for up to 3 months after it.
Anyway, just an update poor dh had some abnormal bleeding after bd the other night and blood clots in his urine (tim) so we are off to the urologist tomorrow to get things checked out. Hoping it was just a fluke, but want to make certain because his dad had bladder cancer and his only symptom was blood in his urine. Please say a prayer as he is very nervous and scared about going to the doctor.

BBdreams, lots of prayers being sent your way ~~~~~~ :D Poor guy, sounds painful!
SG, I am glad it really didn't hurt, makes me less nervous! They wanted me to start all of this treatment last April, but I didn't have the chance to start and since the MC I was too embarassed to call and go in. BUT I got fed up with being unhappy and just did it. So after your unfortunate hsg results (which still blow my mind and make me want to hug you to bits), are you guys going to look into IVF right away?.....
:hi: To All! I have been super busy with work and after work activites and such. My birthday was yesterday and my husband took me out to a nice dinner and gave me purple lillies also. I heart him!
I got his SA results back today and here they are: 75 mil sperm, 63% motility and 1% morphology (I believe thats the word they used). I asked them to explain and they said my husband's sperm only has 1% of healthy sperm. All the rest are abnormal and unable to penetrate an egg. She said its very low and would have liked to see better, but for now we will continue with the hsg on wednesday and the IUI when O time comes sometime next week. I am alittle sad, but others have had worse. It just sucks :(
Have a great week!

bb -- glad your is getting it checked out. Mine would probably ignore it or wait a few months to check it out! Guys are dumb sometimes!!

tryfor... hopefully the IUI will sort out all the extra good ones for you and give them a head start to the egg!

I go to my doctor on Friday to discuss next steps. He'll have had more time to review my HSG results. I'm thinking I'll push for a lap just to make sure I don't have endo. With the abnormal spotting and the blocked tube, it could all be caused by endo. It'll be interesting to hear what he has to say on Friday, though.

Gosh SG, please keepme posted girlfriend! I am cheering you on all the way!

BB thinking of you hun sending you a really big :hugs:

Tryfor - sorry about OH's SA, fingers crossed that your hsg goes well, fingers crossed for your IUI.

Squirrel - hope all goes well with the doctor, I am glad he is an understanding person xx

Wanting - Hiya, yep the dice analogy seems very true.

OH has his second SA on friday and I have to go for another day 21 blood test next cycle (I am not quite sure what CD I am on this time round)!

I don't expect they will show anything different from last time. OH and I are hoping that we can go for an hsg private before we get our NHS referral to the FS. Things take such a long time here, hopefully we might be able to get a bit of information together before we go.

Anyway - just come back from a lovely long weekend in the Peak District, went for some nice walks, and the cottage we rented had a fantastic wood burning stove which we spent our evenings snuggled round. Still got a few more days off work before I go back to the grind.

BB- hope your dh is doing ok.
Tryfor-sorry about the not so great numbers.
Squirrel-hope all goes well at the dr's.
Ejay-your weekend sounds fantastic!
Hope everyone else is doing well!

Well, dh went and had his follow-up SA. We go to the dr. to discuss the results Thursday afternoon. I'm super nervous! Here's hoping his numbers have improved!

eeek, lucie you must be quite anxious!!!! Good luck!!!!

Tryfor/Ejay, and anyone else getting ready for an HSG ----- stock up on pads and liners!! I had my HSG on Thursday and today is the first day I've not had dye leaking out. The first couple days after I definitely needed pads. Then I switched to liners but had to change them more often than I otherwise would. I dunno if I had more than the usual amount pumped into me, or if because one tube is blocked more came out the KOOTCH (:haha:) than if it had gone through the tube, but anyway, just be prepared! Not that it was horrible or really all that gross, but I was surprised.

Oh my gosh! I didn't know dye leaks out after!!!! I thought it disappeared!!!
Thanks for the useful info!!!
