Hi, my LO will need two bottles a day when I return to work, these being at 9am and 1pm.

However, I will only be able to pump at 11am and 3pm on one shift, and 12pm and 4pm on another shift.

Does it matter what times of the day I am pumping as long as I pump the same amount of times as he is having a bottle?

I will be feeding him on collection at 5/6 and when I drop him off at 7/8ish.

Any help would be appreciated thanks :)

Pumping at the same time each day will improve pumping output, but having to do it at different times certainly isn't going to kill your supply or anything. Was that your concern or did I misunderstand your post?

Yep that was my concern, thankyou for replying :)

Nope, that sounds fine -- in fact it may be even better for your supply than pumping earlier. Since LO can still eat even after I've pumped, I find it works best to pump slightly later than his bottles because I can pump more that way and he's still satisfied the next time I feed him. :flower:

Thanks :) that makes sense. I think I'm just over thinking things, as I'm worrying about going back!
