So my work is having a meal/night out on Saturday and it has only occurred to me that I've only bought one dress since Nathan was born and can't fit into anything else. (I haven't tried as I didn't want to waste our one on one time as it is limited) This is the dress https://m.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_34519+85610004_-1 I planned to wear a teal cardigan with it. Is it appropriate? Help I live in jeans so have no idea what to wear in any dressy situation. And I have no shoes as I wore teal sandals with them last time. Edit:I don't wear heels either as I have terrible balance and will be drinking after 16 months without. AAAAHHHHH.

It's very nice! I have mine this evening. I either wear what I wore last year as its all that fits or black smart jeans and blouse, I can't wait to get back into my old clothes!

I think it's lovely, perfect for a nice meal.

It's think its really lovely! I also have my Christmas party this Saturday and have nothing to wear. I was 9 months pregnant last Christmas, so didn't buy anything like that and Christmas before was a size smaller. Most of dresses I have at min are too summery, going to be a stressful Saturday deciding what to wear, I can feel it lol.

Thats a very nice dress, tbh i usually dress for comfort... i had a wedding reception few weeks ago and wore a lovely green dress which luckily still fit as it was stretchy and everyone complimented me...

I just dressed it up with a throw round my shoulders and wore my plain boring flats but thats cos i shuffle when i walk and im not good in heels either lol

Mines saturday too. I dont ever wear dresses so opted for black skinny jeans with a sparkly gold top and heels :) Wont be the only one not wearing a dress either.

I went for black jeans and a black sparkly blouse in the end, felt much more comfortable!
