I work per diem on the weekends at a hospital (about 1-2x month) in addition to a 40+ hour work week at another job.
My per diem job requires lifting and transferring people (typically always twice my weight). I often work with patients who are unable to transfer themselves at all and I literally have to do all the work to get them from a bed to a chair, etc.
I'm debating giving up my per diem job because even though it's great money, I can survive without it. I do enjoy the job somewhat but I worry that all the lifting will possibly cause an injury.
I hate to quit any job really but I feel like I should... advice?
I'm a little over 9 weeks pregnant.
