I know that I am only 36 weeks and that I still have time, but I have this nagging feeling that my little girl is going to be late. I have not had ANY signs that labor is near. She is not engaged at all (though is thankfully head down), my cervix is still long, I tried pumping yesterday and nothing, not even colostrum came out, I have not felt any Braxton Hicks, nothing!! All of these things make me think that she is not going to be here any time soon. Does anyone have any experiences where they did not have any signs of labor but their little ones still came on time??

5% of babies come on their due date most are late. Sorry

I wouldnt worry too much now. Im 34 weeks and have had no signs (i know im 2 weeks behind you) But LO will come eventually :D x

I agree!

My Lo was 11 days overdue... it wasn't a problem at all.

It doesn't matter medically if your LO is over due as long as the placenta is functioning and you are feeling well.

why are you worried hun?

xxx

Tbh im terrified mine are going to come to early i would much prefer to be overdue :)

at 35 +5 a lot of women still haven't had any signs, and yes some women have absolutely no signs of labour and still give birth around their due date. try not too worry, its still early days and little fry may suprise you. :hugs: x

I don't mean to sound selfish but I am just ready for her to come. I am miserable and would just like her out! I understand it is better for her to come when she is ready, and obviously it's better than her being early... but I honestly have gotten to the point where everything is a struggle and really don't want to go more than 4 more weeks feeling this way.

i know what you mean. after 30+ weeks of knowing your EDD, you kind of get attached to it! i just went to the doctor this week and she said that im only 1cm and only 25% effaced. the baby is at a -3 station too. argh! she just wont drop down. anyway, my doctor said that i will most likely go overdue at this point. it was the very last thing i wanted to hear, especially after having a pretty convincing false labour last weekend. im the same as you...getting impatient and uncomfortable...but then i read another post on here today about someone who said they arent impatient at all. made me think about it and how pregnancy really is a pretty amazing gift. we get to have our LOs close to us, feeling their every move and wiggle. once i read that it made me realize that i need to not take this last bit of time for granted, because once she comes out thats it and ill never have her so physically close and connected again. just thought it might help you to think about this too...i know it did me!
