what's the difference between the mini pill and standard pill? Just realised inam talking to you like a dr!

The standard pill is a mixture of both estrogen and progesterone, some women (me) has adverse effects when taking this type, migraines, nausea, ect. This is know as the pill or the combined pill as it is two hormones combined.
So then they are offered the "mini" pill this is call the POP pill as it is
Progesterone Only Pill, it just has the one hormone not the two, it is ot any less effective contraception wise, it's just another option if you dont get on with the combined pill
The implanon I had is the POP one it is implanted in your arm under the skin and lasts for roughly three years.
I am now pretty sure it is the mini pill that 2 of my friends got preggo on! Although it wouldn't surprise me if they weren't taking it properly! The type that would forget their heads if they weren't screwed on!!I am starting ttc #4 in March
Oh what are we like, hormone driven or what hehehe! That being said already having two children and knowing full well what it entails, my heart still rules my head! My hormones make me broody but my heart makes me want to carry a child, bond with it, raise and love it, create new a beautiful new life, give my children a new sibling just everything Having children is the best thing I have ever done and I'm very very excited to have another
