Fiancé and I have postponed our baby making indefinitely :'(

We have run into some severe financial trouble, combined with all three of our cars breaking down in the last 6 months (all engine related, and expensive to fix), family problems and almost breaking up...

I'm hoping that we might have an "oops", but fiancé is a stickler for condoms :sad:

It's been a pleasure, and I hope to be back with a BFP from Melbourne, Australia, in about 18 months -xox-

My husband is like that.... We had a little oops a while ago and I did get pregnant, but unfortunately I miscarried (about 2 weeks ago) and the first time we had sex again I kind of just wanted to go for it, but my husband didn't!
I guess it's better though! It's always better to just get everything (or at least most things) sorted before having any (more) kids.

We've been having trouble getting a new house and we've decided (after the mc) that we're gonna wait until we've moved. Which is the sensible thing to do, but it's still hard to wait cause I really want to get pregnant again, I was so happy when I was pregnant!!

Good luck anyway!! Hopefully you'll sort everything out soon and can get back to trying!!

Yes, I can hear my dear departed Mum saying "Get your s**t sorted before you have kids" but at my age (30) she had already had 5 under 12 years old, and I was 6 years away!

I guess I'm in a hurry now, getting older, I can hear my clock ticking, and it's starting to get deafening! I guess I'll have to continue my mothering skills on our two cats for the time being! :kitty:

Umm hiya we r not sure when we will be trying yet not for a long while though. On contraceptive implant atm but i am having it removed as it has been in since 6 weeks pp of our youngest (who is 10 months on the 29th oct) and it is just awful bleeding non stop headaches moodswings etc. So i guess it will be back to the pill or something similar until we decide otherwise xx

We were gonna try and conceive again once we moved, but then I got pregnant and unfortunately had a miscarriage.... Then we reverted back to the old plan of trying to conceive after we'd moved, which we thought was gonna happen around this time/end of november... But we don't seem to be getting anywhere with our housing application and it's been 2 months since anything has happened (long complicated story). So it could be AGES yet before we move, plus we've figured out that if my husband isn't working or earning a certain amount we wouldn't be able to afford having another baby anyway!! :S

Really annoyed about it, especially since the mc, would've been alright if we hadn't had a mc cause I was fine with waiting before, but ever since I was pregnant and had a mc I can't wait to get pregnant again.... I've even thought about just doing it without protection and just going with it, see what happens... Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, I've got a sensible husband who won't 'finish' inside so I won't get pregnant (or don't have a big chance of getting pregnant)...... It's so frustrating!!

We were supposed to have the 12wk scan next week aswell!
