yay!!! best news ever! IUI cost covered

I just got off the phone with my insurance and I couldn't be happier with the news. They cover my IUI and sperm washing 100%!!! All I have to pay is my $20 co pay each time. My stress level just dropped off so much. Now we are just going to have to pay for the sperm and shipping.

Lowered stress a lot because I was so worried about coming up with the money each time if it didn't work out. So relieved!

Jealous! Our insurance won't even cover a SA! We're going to try and have it covered as part of his transplant maintenance, but no guarantees!

I hate to ask this... but with beginning the process ourselves... I was wondering how much it would cost if insurance didn't end up covering it...

I've seen anywhere from 230- 600. My dr office in the US is $245 for the IUI, $45 for sperm washing and $150 for initial visit.
