Can anyone recommend a tried and tested venue in York to hold a naming ceremony for our baby boy? Rather than holding the ceremony at the registry office and then traipsing to a nearby hotel/pub, we'd like to have the registrar travel to the venue so that we can stay and have a bit of a do with friends and family after the ceremony.
Any suggestions greatfully received! Some of our friends have children so we didn't think the usual pub function rooms would be suitable, and the hotels seem to charge a small fortune for naff cold buffets!
