My dads funeral was on Tuesday, my brothers carried the coffin into the cremtorium and it was heartbreaking I'm glad its all over with now though, I feel like I can move on if that makes sense?

Oh hun, I don't know your story but I am so sorry for your loss My Dad has been gone for 16 years now, it does get easier

Hey all :wave: Hope everyone had a wonderful christmas and new year. I've not been very good at catching up with this thread lately have I, sorry Not been up to much myself lately just really looking foward to finishing work in a few weeks We talked about a Yorkshire meet sometime, anybody up for it soon? Does anyone anyone have anywhere in mind? How about Meadowhall, get some shopping in too hehe. Or White Rose Centre maybe? Was thinking around middle of Feb, but anytime up to April is good for me, will be harder once new LO is here hehe. Would be really great to meet some fellow yorkshire lasses of here xx

Shopping areas are a no no for me I'm afraid, Myles is at that age and just HATES shops of any description I would prefer a park or play area but I know that might be difficult to find/arrange!

I'm up for a meet, however (lol), my main restrictions are, I work full time all week so I can come to ones on a weekend. I would be up for Medowhall at a push, I'm just not driving at the mo and it takes forever to get there on the train so I wouldn't be able too stay long, a couple of hours literally. So if ppl just bash out meet date / times etc i'll just slot in somewhere!

i don't drive either but i don't mind getting trains etc. I agree shopping is a tad boaring for babies, Nathan is at an age where he gets pissed off if he is in his pram too long!

What about a play gym then? Fizzy Lizards in Huddersfield is good - clean and bright and with lots of seating and coffee and cake! Plenty of parking and out of town.

It's on the Lockwood Road - next to the casino and opposite where Visage and Ethos club was. A short walk from the Wilkinsons end of town.

It's lovely - really big, airy and clean. There's an outside bit too! Hebe had her birthday party there and it was excellent. They have some sofas and a nice cafe too.

The outside bit is really good on a nice day, I find the inside bit a bit claustrophobic though cos you have to really go in with them as it is all enclosed! It does have a great cafe though and the shop and entrance lobby are fab!

im kelly im 25 and mummy to lilly 2.5yr and a step mummy ryan 14 paige 13 and caitlyn 11 i was a nightclub manager but quit just before xmas as its just not good been at work all night and trying to be a mum and also my step kids come on a weekend and i didnt get to see them either cause i worked all wekend nights and slept all day... we had a MC in jan 2010 it was an unplanned preg but we where thrilled none the less.... decided to ttc straight away and got caught again but mc in june so carried on ttc and i am currently 6 weeks preg

my oh is a stone cleaner now but he used to sell cars as well he is 32

we are from bradford xx
