Young IVF'ers....

Ive just turned 20 but because of DH already having kids from a previous relationship we weren't eligible for ivf on the nhs and even if we were they would have made me wait until I was 23 and were hoping to have 2 blasts put back, how many do you want?

I'm pretty sure I can only have one put back but I wud like two of course

But I'll be grateful for the Nhs cycles
Just gotta wait til jan to get bloods done and to get referred
Hopefully they wil accept me vein 22 at time of referral x

My next FS appointment is next week, think they are gonna make us try clomid before moving to IVF, which is frustrating!

hi im 24 and have the same problem both my tubes are blocked and also buggered,although like you luckly OH has no problems. just been referred for ivf getting a bit impatient already...

How longs the waiting list in your area?

The wait in my area is about 4 months
Iv just done a hpt cos I'm late but spotted a few days ago
And.... Bfn lol xx

I was like that, after nearly 3 years I was hoping that it'd happen the month before we started
That's not a bad wait, our area was 12 months x

Well we've have got 8 more months to wait tho xx

I've gotta say out the whole process the waiting is the worst!
We had our initial consultation in june and it took 5 months of set backs before we got some where x

yuh i no what you mean about the waiting but im glad in a way cos it gives us chance to save incase we need private xx

I gotta say the waiting has drove me mad but it's done us some good too, me and DH are so close now, well we were before but now were so much more closer and stronger because of it x
