young mum TTC#2

Heey guys! I'm 21 and ttc #2  I'm on CD10. I'm not charting or anything just now. This is our first month trying to we're trying to keep it casual and fun for the first few cycles. It might last a month :haha:

Ah, sorry to hear that. FX'd it happens soon for you! Do you have any children?

Hey girls I'm TTC #1. I'm 21 years old, could I join you ladies!?!?

This is my first month, yourself? We're trying to keep it as simple as possible for the first few months.

evening everyone, nice to have the new posters here too!!

xarlene, your lil man is so cute! bless, how old is he? My son is 3 in a couple of weeks

This our first month TTC but not by choice. They failed to remove my coil at the docs, they couldnt find it so I had to have a hospital appointment, which took 3 weeks to come in the post and wasnt due for over another month after that, just before xmas. I ov'd on CD15 confirmed by OPKs and Temping. We were supposed to be taking it easy but OMG i am already obsessed... I guess the main reason I wanted to chart and opk is because I wasn't sure how much the mirena coil had messed up my cycle as it was so erratic while I had it in, I wanted to know if i was OV-ing...

So where is everyone cycles at? Any TTC history to share? xxx

We have been NTNP for 2 & 1/2 years. My fiancée and I are High school sweethearts, been together for 6 years, have our own home and no BFP yet! We are going to start getting serious and goin to try some FertilAid products and see what happens. Otherwise off to the specialist we go by next year!

Thank you :cloud9: My son is 3 in feb! I love this age. They are developing into their own little personalities, its amazing to see. This is our first month too, I also had the mirena coil. Had to have it removed in november after abnormal pain and bleeding. The only thing we've changed is no protection, eating habits and vits. My OH told me he didn't wanna turn it into a 'science project' so no temping etc unless we get to 6 months, then we'll step things up.

Dont know If i'll last that long though!

:wacko:omg the pain while on the mirena!!! ergh i hate to think of it. I developed cysts while on the mirena too so I am worried about TTC, i hope i am not here for too long as i think it would kill me. My baby is my world and i long to expand the family tree and to give him a sibling :cloud9:

:haha:talking of science projects, i decided to start on with my opks like some experiment, didnt get very far as im crap at recording data, or even remembering too- too much other stuff to be done

hi ksb, sorry to hear of your long roller coaster TTC journey, i wish it was easy just like that to get pregnant, i really hope you both find answers in fertility aid and we are all here for you if you want to chat about the highs and low.:hugs:

I had the mirena for over a year before it got painful, now one of my friends going through the exact same, seems more common than I thought.

I'm not great at keeping records either, but I reckon after a while of trying you'd want to put everything into it.

Any of you ladies married? x

no, not me! hehe Have been with OH for 4.5 years now and marriage has always been on the cards but not something we are in a rush to do.

When booking my removal appointment, I did lots of research on the Mirena... i really do not think it should be used at all... I mean dont get me wrong it did the job of preventing pregnancy but I had two ultra sounds in just under 2 years, lots pain and multiple cysts. Before the mirena I had a simple cycle, but on the mirena it never settled for me at all, sometimes i bled 3-4 times a month and sometimes not for 3-4 months at a time and I was almost always in some sort of discomfort or pain. Such a relief to have it out and be myself again, I seriously think it contributed to my depression at one point (im all ok now) and various other things. I was told none of this when I had it in, i was told lots of stuff about it... lots of good stuff and little cons.

Are you going to use fertility friend at some point? xxx

I tried the patch after the coil, till I done some more research and realised its got way too many side effects worth risking.

Think i'll start using it around april if I haven't got a little beanie by then :baby: what about you?

im using FF now, it's the first month so im just getting used to it...im actually amazed how i remember every morning, first thing, to do it!

how does it look? I didn't start temping until CD 11

From the little I know about charting its looking good  do you think little George would love a brother or sister? Kyle asked for one last week!

Plan was to continue as normal for us, but make sure we do it once a day for the week surrounding ovulation, which would be now, however my OH ended up being called out and having to work from yesterday at 8am till 7.45 this morning. At which point he's half dead and i'm up with ds and getting ready for work myself :dohh: not ideal!! Have to make up for it tonight ;)

Thanks hun, hope its looking good!

Yes i think he would love one, at least when i ask him he says yes. I am a work at home mum but since last sept he's been going to a childminders and there is a baby boy there who George adores. When I walked in yesterday George was building blocks for him and Ruben (the 8month old) was knocking them back down, George was screaming with laughter with his dirty little laugh lol Does Kyle want a brother or a sister. George wants a boy lol, so he can in his own words 'boy mummy, play cars me' lol forgive the grammar he has delayed speech, :D

You will certainly have to make up for it now, I hate it when they are too shattered... My oh's work bloody work him to the bone, he's usually in bed before me... :(
