Your Bumps

I did the same thing to a lady at work today. I dropped something and just looked at it for a minute. She looked at me and said "oh, just leave it. I'll sweep it up later." Sorry, Elaine :-)

Definitely to the point where picking things up, shaving my legs, and tying my shoes just isn't worth it anymore.

Lol! I still try but it is not subtle OR pretty. Lots of grunting. Sounds a lot like a bodybuilder during training: "Aaarrrggghhh!"

30 week bump  Feeling huge lately, bending over for things has definitely become quite the task

Haha, quite the task indeed! I knocked over a half full can of soda the other day, and I stood there for a good 30 seconds trying to figure out what to do. I then just threw a towel down, wiped up what I could with my foot, and then moved the can over onto the towel with my foot and left it. :haha:
Sent my mom a text saying "don't be mad when you get home and see what happened in the kitchen. In my defense, I tried, but it wasn't worth it." :haha:

 That is way too funny :) I think I would have done the same thing. When I drop things I look around to see who I can make pick them up before I even attempt. I am not looking forward to putting shoes on as the weather gets colder and I cant get away with wearing flip flops anymore.

I do too! Or to see if anyone is actually watching :haha: I've left quarters that fall out of the vending machine change return on the floor. Totally not worth it :haha:

I have a pair of, I think they're called clogs? Basically they're just like slip ons that you can wear anywhere. I love them and am very glad I have them! I've left my work shoes tied and just slip my foot in those now days too!

39 week bump,
Hoping this is the last one I'll be posting, but something tells me it won't be!

Ugh I haven't shaved in 2 weeks. I'm forcing myself to shave today, only because I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow and I will be having my group B strep and getting checked. I can't bring myself to go with hairy legs, and I refuse to let the hubs near me with a razor. It should take me a good half hour or so. Fun. Lately when I drop something, my kiddos have been picking it up for me. Nice to have!

 This. Grunting, legs spread wide, knees slightly bent, butt way up in the air. Yep. I FEEL like a bodybuilder who just finished training when it's over! :haha:

You look lovely. We getting close now.quick question. I had a midwife appointment yesterday and she said the baby was 3/5engaged but she didn't tell me anything else. How would I know if im effeced or dilated? Sorry if I sound dull :/.

Well, you can't. You could call and ask her or do a check on yourself (not recommended, but to each their own), but 3/5s is barely engaged, so I'm not sure how much progress there is to be seen. I'm also not an ob or a mw, so I couldn't tell you anyways :-p

36 weeks! Belly looks a bit lower I think this week?

And I shaved my legs today!!!! :happydance::happydance::happydance: I'm sure my doctor will thank me for it haha.

Thanks. They won't do any checks until im overdue :/ which I hope isn't the case. Lol. I guessed that with the dilation but wasn't sure what 50% effaced meant.

Adorable!!!

How did you manage to shave your legs?? I'm genuinely curious because I swear I feel like barfing every time I bend over to shave them. And my lady bits, that's a whooooole different story. My poor doctor

:blush:Thanks :) I will kind of miss this belly when it's gone. Kind of.
:haha: I set a towel on the edge of the tub, sit on it, and put my leg up on the edge across from me. Deep breath then lean down to shave. LOTS of breaks in between! It took me 45 minutes. I also trimmed the lady parts. I refuse to shave that now that I can't even see it. Doing it in a mirror is a pain, I've done it up till now but I'm too lazy for that now, it took enough of me to shave my legs. I always remind myself, even if I don't do it she's had to have seen worse! And she also knows what it's like! As long as I'm not able to braid it, we're good.:haha:

Effacement means the length of the cervix, once it is 100% the cervix is completely thinned out and ready for labor...so my cervix is about halfway thinned/shortened out. :) Hope that makes sense!!! And yeah you'd have to be checked for it...or do it yourself? I am not good at finding my own cervix-tried with my DD and once this time...couldn't find it? lol

Adorable dolly! And newatthis.. your looking mighty low girly :) getting close I bet

I hope so!! I am starting to lost some plug too, but hey! Could be another 3 weeks still :)
