Well, you can't. You could call and ask her or do a check on yourself (not recommended, but to each their own), but 3/5s is barely engaged, so I'm not sure how much progress there is to be seen. I'm also not an ob or a mw, so I couldn't tell you anyways

Thanks. They won't do any checks until im overdue :/ which I hope isn't the case. Lol. I guessed that with the dilation but wasn't sure what 50% effaced meant.

Effacement means the length of the cervix, once it is 100% the cervix is completely thinned out and ready for labor...so my cervix is about halfway thinned/shortened out. Hope that makes sense!!! And yeah you'd have to be checked for it...or do it yourself? I am not good at finding my own cervix-tried with my DD and once this time...couldn't find it? lol

I may have tried last night...lol and my sister explained to me how she does it for her birth control, I am definitely 1-2 cm dilated.

Phew, glad its not just me seeing things! lol

Pretty much all my symptoms have stopped. Haven't gotten any period type cramping in the last few days, very few bh, nesting phase came and went quickly and the runs stopped, other than pressure on my cervix and losing a little more plug every day, I feel like I've completely stalled. I had myself convinced she was on her way and now I am thinking that I'm going to go full term. So depressing. lol

And I shaved my legs today!!!! I'm sure my doctor will thank me for it haha.

Good effort! I managed to do mine this morning, it was hard! I did my bits too but I shave everything off down there so just did it blind whilst standing up! I can see myself having patches

I feel like this too! I was getting lots of symptoms over the past couple of weeks, inc me being 2/5ths engaged! But now for the past 3 days I have had nothing

As the title says, actually went out last night (turn30 on tues) and OH surprised me with a vintage Tiffany rose dress and engagement ring. Happy girl hope everyone's well x
