Your major events of 2009 - the good, bad and ugly

It's been a big, stressful and crazy year for me!

March: quit my job

April: got married!, moved to Virginia

May: got my BFP!

August: lost my little niece to leukemia

September: DH and I finally got our own apartment

October: last-minute trip to Minnesota when DH's godmother died

November: back to Wisconsin

December: found out we're having a little girl, had a baby health scare and spent two days in hospital, then sent home with good news

The Good

- Moving in with my boy
- Changing jobs
- My brother getting married
- The birth of our neice
- A couple of my very good friends falling pregnant

The Bad

- Losing two pets
- OH losing his job
- Having lots of stress at my old job

But generally, its been a good year. I get to live with a man I adore, we have a great future ahead of us, and my family are all healthy and well. Cant wait to see what 2010 brings

Finishing our attic renovation
Finishing our log fireplace
Loosing a stone in weight
Going away a few times (porthmadog & devon)
Ffion & Rhys both growing up some more

Bad:
Ffion being reffered for her eye problems
Rhys being reffered to the speach therapist

Ugly:
OHs nan having cancer (all clear now)
OHs step nan having cancer again (all clear although both breasts gone)

Loosing OHs great uncle

Good:
January:Had a beautiful baby girl who is more than I ever imagined she would be

March:Brooke was finally released from hospital after 5 weeks in SCBU

April: Went on our first little family holdiay together and had a blast

May: My 23rd birthday and another suprise holiday in the Isle of Wight My sister got engaged. . .

July. . .Fell pregnant with monkeybum number 2

August: Brooke got the all-clear from her heart scans

September:My step sister got married and she looked so amazingly beautiful

November:Brooke said Daddy for the first time! and my best friend came back safely after 6 months travelling in Oz. . .

December:Brookes first christmas

Bad:

Realising Brooke wouldnt be coming home with us for a while after being admitted to SCBU

Suffering from severe pre eclampsia

And the ugly. . .

Waking up in intensive care in a ventilator after having a crash section to deliver our baby girl

Here's to another crazy year in 2010!!!!

Ok its been a bit of a mental year.

Good:

*Finding out I was pregnant after 3 mcs.
*Moving from a shared house to just me and OH.
*Having James.
*Being asked to be godmother to my nephew.
*My best friend getting engaged.
*Being pregnant at the same time as my 2 sisters lol.


Bad:

*Losing my grandad to cancer RIP grandad.
*Falling out with a close friend.
*Ending up in hospital several times with suspected premature labour and suspected ruptured membranes.


Ugly:

*James choking on his first night home and turning blue. Had to resuscitate him (being a neonatal nurse has its advantages).

January -

Started new job as a carer.

OH turned 20.

Me and OH talked about having babies and both got really broody and starting planning for the future.

I got back in touch with one of my closest friends after not speaking for 2 years for something silly - found out she was 8.5 months pregnant with a boy

February -

Above friend had a bouncing baby boy after a long but good labour.

Lots of bad family issues and my perfect childhood memories were shattered

Decided to start TTC with my OH

March -

Still waiting for AF to arrive after coming off Cerazette

April -

Celebrated 3 year anniversary with OH

May -

AF finally came! Onwards with baby making...

June -

I turned 20

July -

Got AF again.. no BFP yet

1st anniversary of me and OH living together decided we had to move to a bigger place hoping BFP would come soon!

August -

Had a Summer Party at my mums and most of the family came

Went to France for the day with OH, mum, step dad, little sister and brother

Me and OH suffered from gastro flu the day after France

More family feuds

September -

Officially had no contact with my dad for a whole year due to him being selfish and an arse!

Started decorating our new place, twice the size of the old place and OH's dad and brother helped us a LOT!

October -

Went on work holiday and had a great time!

Moved into our newly decorated flat!

November -

OH got told he had to find a new job by February - his current company are relocating to Wales and we don't want to move that far away. He won't get any redundancy pay

December-

OH has had an interview already and has one on Monday and more lined up!

I had OV pains this month and have had symptoms..hoping this is our BFP month!

2008 was my crazy year. So this year has for the most been ok.

Bad:
My hubby struggling to find work and so falling really behind with money
Resulting in us cancelling our april 09 wedding in feb.
Heading back into depression and fearing PND had returned
Just general up's and down due to money worries and having major rows with hubby
Finding out that Charlie has inturned feet and needs treatment
Missing hubby, and charlie missing daddy so much since he has been working away

Good:
Hubby falling on a great job and getting promoted 2 weeks later
Really proud of him
Charlie growing up even more love him so much and so so proud
Rebooking wedding for Halloween
Getting married yay after 8 years together
Falling in love with hubby all over again and deciding that next july is the date to start TTC (Hopefully sooner )
Seeing my gorgeous nephew being christened and growing up so fast like his big cousin
Having money from wedding to book and pay for a week's familymoon next Apr in Majorca(can't wait)

Yeah, generally an ok year. Feeling like i'm beginning to find me again after PND and after effects. So just hope it continues into 2010

Good- Giving birth, getting a new job, booking our wedding, graduating

Bad- To be honest I cannot think of anything, this has been the greatest year of my life

Good:
- Getting pregnant with a sticky bean
- Finding out Munchkin is a girl
- Passing my driving test
- Getting together with OH
- Being on BnB for a year, & talking to some really amazing people

Bad:
- Ex-OH
- M/C
- Falling outs within the family

Here's to a much better 2010 though! x

first half was not eventful at all well apart from April : moved out of the flat, and got into the (rented) house whihc has more space but also is a bit out in the sticks.)
Also me joining here
May: Sister announcing pregnancy(due in january)
June : my birthday
July and August- summer boredom of semester break with addition of OH doing a lot of business trips)
Granpas birthay(85) meeting lots of family that not very often seen
October. start of new semester - Already need a break, who is supposed to do 6 trillion essays and presentations?
November, Met another side of family again after surely 5 years or so.

not a bad year but I realise that the overhaul of studiying system was very badly done in Germany .gh it sucks.

BAD:
My hubby got layed of in january

I suffered really badly with depression after having mouth surgery i had a reaction to the drugs they give me (had a massive high then a bad low)

I quit my driving lessons and quit my hairdressing course when going through depression because the pressure was to much with everything.

My hubbys friend dying only 2 weeks ago

My son had a convusion right before his 2nd birthday ive never been so scared.

Theres a few other things aswell

GOOD:

Finding out were having our 4th and last baby

Moving to a bigger house

Made good relationships with OH's kids.

Bad
I can't remind anything bad at th moment

- Having Grady!
- Getting all our debts under control instead of struggling.
- Getting engaged (yesterday! lol)
- Some of the people I've met.

Bad
- Being diagnosed with PND.
- My relationship with my dad ending in a horrible way.
- Drama on here that has made it so I very rarely come on anymore as I like to avoid certain people.

2009 has been a terrible year for us.

I was layed off twice from my job
Our truck broke down twice, costing us a small fortune.
Found out that the only way DH and I can have children is through IUI and IVF
Failed IUI
DH's second cousin was recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer
SIL has skin cancer
My father needs surgery on his knees (that he's refusing to get)
Property, county, state and school taxes went up SIGNIFICANTLY!!!!

So yeah...I'm really ready to kiss 2009 goodbye!

Good: My little Rainbow entered the world screaming her little head off

There was a bit of bad but i dont care. She makes it all worthwhile.
