I'm gutted :( I'm 37 and over weight but given I already have a DD I never really thought it would happen to us :(

I got the results on Monday afternoon and had my amnio yesterday lunchtime. Now just waiting for results and I'm so scared :nope::cry:

It have read so much over the last 28 hours, I've read thread after thread and NHS page after NHS page.

I know there is nothing that I can do to change the outcome now, but that isnt how it feels. All I have in my head is the phone call where the MW tells me it's positive. I'm so frightened.

We have a plan, but how I am going to be able to wait I don't know :( hopefully the results might be back on Friday, but it could equally be Monday.

No really point to this thread tbh just need somewhere to offload. All the reading I'm finding seems to be those with 1:5 to 1:2 getting positive results so I'm stopping reading.

Fucks sake, this is horrid :(

:hugs: I don't have any experience with this but wanted to give you a hug and maybe a different perspective. 1:5 means that you have any 80% chance that your LO is just fine. Not as great as 100%, but still really good odds in my book. Good luck, and I hope you get your results soon. :hugs:

*hugs* such a trying time for you :( I hope you get your results sooner rather than later so you aren't left waiting for long!

I also have no experience with this complication but didn't want to read without sending a big hug. :hugs: really hoping you get good news soon.

The waiting is going to actually send me insane :( I don't know what to do with myself or anything. To think it might not be until next week that we hear is just unbearable :(

My results also came back as 1:5. I skipped the amino and went with a detailed ultrasound which took almost 3 hours. There were no soft markers that showed up on the ultrasound. My baby boy was born perfectly fine. But it made for a long pregnancy.

Hi Gertrude, just checking in, hope everything is ok hun

Oh I'm so sorry Gertrude. Life is so hard and can be so unfair, I'm gutted for you and what you must be going through. I'm so so sorry and I pray for you and your family.

I am sorry to hear this Gertrude. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

:hugs: Sorry you're going through this! I was in your shoes nearly 2 years ago now and it was just awful!!

Hope you're doing ok! Day by day is all I can say..it really does hurt less with time! xx

Not doing so great, gave birth last week, now got infection (UTI) and possibly some retained tissue of big clots. Just want to mourn my baby :(

I've been thinking of you and sending you some more hugs :hugs:

Be kind to yourself and take all the time you need. :hugs:

Hugs, im so sorry gertrude, you are being so strong, i hope your body heals quickly so you can just focus on your heart. :(
