12dpo is it to late?!

I’m 12dpo and have just tested negative with a first response. Has anyone gone on to have a positive after 12dpo? Also I pulled the test apart as at first I thought I saw something and there is a second line but not where it’s meant to be, is this normal? Thanks

I would at least wait until 16 DPO. (As a general) is af late? Because it could be false negative.

I will get strong positives by 12 dpo usually if pregnant. Sorry there’s always a chance though until af shows.

Implantation can occur as late as 12dpo, and it takes about 2 days (sometimes up to 4) to produce testable hcg levels. You're not out until the witch shows.

I wouldn't say you're out. I have known for two weeks I was pregnant. I just got my bfp on the second of December. At this point af is way late, I'm not doing another home test because I have so many things that can't be explained by anything else. I have an ultrasound set up for 2 Tuesdays from now. Everyone has been telling me they know I'm pregnant because they know me and they can see these changes. Most. Some aren't visible to anyone other than me because tmi.
