After saying for ages that he hadn't got me anything John came back from his blood test and asked for wrapping paper. He's left Nate and Seth wrapping whatever it is. I expect its something like a box of chocolates but I'm not fussed what it is, I just thought it was cute that he'd got something after all

Nate was up at 5:13. We did tell them any time after 5 so that was ok. Reuben slept through all the noise of everyone getting up and rushing around so I just left him. I think the craziness that ensued would have probably overwhelmed him anyway so in a way it was a blessing. At 6:25 he woke up and the others helped him open his presents.
I think Santa did good, they all seem really pleased with what they got.
