It really was, we finished the tree this morning, and made a start on the other decorations. Now I'm off to the shops hoping the get the last few presents. You know me, I usually say I'm done about 5 times by Christmas eve, but no one really wants anything this year and I'm out of ideas, so unless they come up with something I really will be done this time haha
I got them some clothes in primark and then ordered some more from sports direct on the way home.
I had 5 full bags of shopping and couldn't carry any more haha I've had to message John and ask if he'll collect me from the station.
Got all 5 of them some pants and some socks
We are going to the reminder farm with my mum next weekend and reuben and nate don't have boots so I bought them some.
I also bought a box of biscuits for the lovely lady at work who started the week after me and gives me a lift to the train station after work every day.
I also picked up some cards, sellotape and extra wrapping paper.
The only thing I need now are an xbox gift card for zac, and steam gift cards for jimi and nate which I can pop into currys for on my way home from work.
This morning I wrapped all the presents for friends, family, and work secret santa. Only thing for anyone outside the house now is Gingerbread men for the karate instructors but they will obviously need baking much closer to the time.
We were comparing prices online and saw that there was a huge difference in some spirits between asda and morrisons so we made a quick run out and got loads of Christmas snacks and drinks
Now I've reached this point I'm really eager to just have everything done and ready. I don't have a decent pic of the tree yet, but I do have Reuben with his bauble "earrings" standing in front of it. It's over crowded, and lopsided, and he is constantly moving bits around but I'm not worried about about it being perfect while they are little
Yesterday John, Zac and Reuben made a couple of batches of Gingerbread men, apparently one of Zac's classes are taking it in turns to take food in through December and it's his turn tomorrow. While they were at it I said they may as well do some extra as we were going to make some for karate anyway and I'm not sure if this week or next week will be the last session before Christmas, so they are done, put in the gift box, then the gift box is in an air tight cake box until Wednesday
