my little girl is 3 week old nearly 4 weeks and taking nearly 5 oz a feed sleeing 4 to 6 hours at night and during the dax every 3 hours and having a bout 4oz is this normal for her . x

Hi there..yea that's totally normal..my little man is 4 weeks on Monday and he has 6-7oz every 2 1/2- 3 hours and sleeps 6 hours through the night. My health visitor said he just likes his food lol. x

My LO is only a week and a half but he takes 3ozs every 3-4 hours, sometimes he'll even take a bit more. MW seems to think it's okay xx

No, definitely not behind Claire.

Thats exactly what our Anna took - on average totalling 18oz in 24hrs.

We use tommee tippee size 1 teats.

At 3wks old, I would make up 3 oz bottles and see how much she would take, then when she was draining a few of them a day I upped it to 4oz bottles and she has gradually increased the amounts she takes.

At just over 6wks now, Anna is on 5oz bottles but will only take 4oz sometimes.

Wow! That makes me wonder if my LO is drinking enough milk. My LO is 19 weeks old and has 5oz per feed and eats every 3-4 hours.

My little girl is 4 weeks old today and she has 4-5 ozs every 3-4 hours so it perfectley ok. I asked my health visitor yesterday and she said its fine. I thought i was feeding her too much but apparantley they will only take as much as they need.

My baby only takes 2-3oz, every 3 hours or so. He's four weeks old tommorow.
