35 and over and ltttc for baby #2 for over 2.5yrs!

Quick reply from me need to get ready for work.

Wish I hope you get sorted asap. Something isn't right. Hugs.

Orchard fantastic your are on the road at last. I think iui in the UK is about £1000 per round going private but it also depends on the drugs used. But as you know I'm nhs and they wouldn't fund it if it didn't produce good results for the money they spend. You never know this could be your round.

Lanet your twins will be in good company on here with a mid February birthday. Plenty of people with birthdays coming up if I remember rightly. Just tell the 2 of them to avoid the 14th - it's a pants day for your birthday.

Hello everybody else.

Afm nope never had a glucose test but 10 years ago a type 1 friend who was working away from home with me was convinced that their was something going on with my insulin levels because of the amount of water i drink every time I tested it was fine. That was before I knew of the links with pcos. However I'm sure the hemotoligist will look at all of it.
Meanwhile I'm about CD 33 another week and the clinic will end this cycle. And let me start on my next iui.

Thanks ladies!!
Tommy you are right something isn't right... Still bleeding (day 13) and now with clots ... The good thing is so far today no pain in the tummy - yesterday was awful... I also laid in bed from 6pm last night till 530 this morning...
I will call the nurse this morning in a teaching break and see what she wants me to do- but if all the dr wants to do is take a blood test... No thanks - how about an ultrasound to make sure my ovaries are ok or something ... I have a very hard time believing I am pg or was pg - no way a bean lives through this bleeding...

Orchid so happy to hear about you moving forward with the re!!!! Exciting and fills the hope tank!!!!
Tommy - you won't bleed and I can't stop bleeding!!!! Wth???? I hope the witch finds you soon so you too can move on!!
:hi: to the other ladies!!!

Wish let him take the bloods. That might just be his starting point on what is happening. Depending on the result may determine his next step.
Hope you are ok. Hugs to you.

I should add Wish don't worry about me this not out with my normal you are beyond anyone's normal - you need checked to find out what is going on.

Tommy dd bday is the 14th, yours is too right? I remember it seems like I few people here share the bday? So far dd loves it being on that day, she feels very special.

Lanet well remembered. I remembered Eyemoms DD1 is about the same time and my DS and Mum are a few days later.

Quick post - I'm at the dr's office now - he wants to do ultrasound and I don't really know what else.... Will update later!!

Been watching for your update all day. Did he do the bloods?

I have a softball size cyst (and another smaller one) on my right ovary - it is pushing my ovaries together... He is putting me on birth control and if the doesn't shrink it I have to have surgery - next appt in two weeks to check and schedule surgery if not gone

Oh wish that really sucks but I am glad that you have answers to everything! Who knows maybe once the stupid softball has been eliminated you'll get your BFP.... Sending big hugs, feel better :hugs: x

Oh no wish! That definetely explains the wonky cycles. Could the clomid have caused it?

Lanet- yes my dr thinks when we upped the clomid to 100mg it caused my ovary (my only one that really works!!!) to kick into over drive...
I have taken my first BC in over two years and now I am in a totally different TWW!!! Hahahahaha
He also said I will probably have a lap regardless... I hope so I want him to clean out my left tube and open it back up!!! Take all I an get right??!!! Might as well get my monies worth!!
Hope everyone had a great day - I am cooking pork chops for dinner!!!
Tomorrow is Friday!! Yay!!

Yes might as well get all cleared out!i hate taking birth control so so much! Hope it's nicer to you than it is to me

Oh Wish no wonder you were so sore. Yip I'd ask if they can have a look at your left tube too. However fingers crossed the birth control will shrink it.
You never know maybe Orchard is right once the cyst is removed things will start working and you get that long awaited BFP.

Wish: I'm thinking about you and how much crap you're going through. I hope this is the worst of it, and the rest of 2015 will be a fabulous year!!!

Lanet: Praying for your babies!!!

I'm still catching up with reading this thread...been out-of-touch for awhile. This month is a bust for me. I feel dreaded AF on her way with full-blown PMS. I'm tired of waiting, as all of you are as well. I've got no options of getting pregnant other than the natural way...husband isn't for IUI or really anything much lately. He's too busy to focus on having a baby. I always wonder why I somehow manage to focus on it, when I'm just as busy with work and raising our kids. I guess I'm a multi-tasker, lol! All mothers are multi-taskers!

Life goes on...

Ah wish. Hugs to you. I definitely do think its better to know though so at least you can start to take action rather than the endless cycle of hope and disappointment.

Morning Ladies or afternoon to you all across the pond lol.....

Wish-I agree at least you know what was wrong so now you can fix it ...I can't imagine how a softball can fit into your pelvis on your ovary but owwww! Your story makes me scared to try the clomid now.

Orchid congrats on going forward with RE hopefully you will have your BFP soon!

Hello everyone else!!!!!!

AFM still no AF cd 44 (I think) and I took my daily HCG and LH tests (internet cheapies) to satisfy my poas addiction last night. Well my LH test was so close to positive it wasn't funny and I woke up with horrible pains in my left ovary so it must have been accurate right? I haven't ovulated in FOREVER. So dtd and then put a soft cup in there to keep any spillage from coming out. (sorry TMI) So would that put me in the TWW now? Or is my body just crazy?! I thought DH would give me funny looks with the cup thingy put he told me tonight he's gonna tie something to the ceiling to hold my legs and bum up all night. I swear he wants a baby as bad as I do. LOL.

Coquis - I would do another LH test each day until it turns negative. I find that I actually OV of the day I get a negative after a positive. So definitely BD tonight too!

I think I'm going to BD has never really been an issue I just think maybe I haven't been ovulating or getting up to soon IDK. I want DH to get a SA but we don't have an appointment till March so I'm doing anything I can think of to get pregnant right now just like everyone else here. I hope we all get our BFP soon.
