Hi! I'm 38, DH is 42, and we're expecting our first child around December 28th. We'll get a better approximation of the due date at our first ultrasound on May 14th. I'm so excited to see our little one for the first time!
I have tons of questions (shocker, right? ), and look forward to discussing them with others who are also 35+. I also look forward to getting to know the members of this group!
Here are my most pressing current questions:

Here are my most pressing current questions:
- 1. Do you know of a resource I can consult with questions about herbal supplements and teas with herbs in them?
- 2. Does anyone have any information on the use of stevia in pregnancy? WTE doesn't say much about it, and I haven't found any great resources yet.
- 3. Does anyone know if cooked chunks of chicken at, say, Subway, are just as likely to have listeria as "deli meat?" If so, how do you handle eating sandwiches and salads out? Are people at most restaurants you've visited willing to heat up lunch meat to a safe temperature? Or, alternatively, do you think the "toasting" they do at places like Quiznos and Subway is enough to kill the listeria? I'm craving protein, but don't always have easy and fast access to it if deli meat isn't an option.
