4 dpo crampy on chlomid?

Lol Frisbeemama, I had no idea what time the next day would've been over here so I was getting impatient! Congratulations I knew it would be a BFP! Hope this is a sticky one hun!

Yeah, no kidding- starting from square one- but a little bit wiser hopefully! Still feel bloated and now I have AF cramps instead of the other weird ones... Aren't we lucky to be women?!

I'm CD1 now- after waiting overtime for AF to come. I think it was the progesterone cream- or the Clomid. Who knows. I got my Clomid for the month- 100mg and plan on taking it CD4-8... I'm REALLY hoping I don't get any "new and exciting" side effects because DH and I are celebrating our anniversary, going on vacation to Ireland, and celebrating his birthday- all during this cycle! LOL- I would feel sooooooooo bad if I ruined any of those because I was a raving lunatic or something! lol

DH is mad at me (and it's funny). Finally I got to talk to my doc about getting a semen sample done- she says no problem-just have your husband abstain from ejaculation for 5 days and then come to the hospital in the morning. haha! I told him that since I was AF he should do it now and you should have seen the look on his face when I told him he had to not come for 5 days! It was SOO funny and (sadly) made me feel great because he got to share the burden a TINY bit for this fertility thing. I'm terrible, I know! hehe

Hi ladies,
I have been stalking a bit, do you mind if I join?

I am 37, DH is 41, TTC since April. Came off the BCP in March, and periods have been irregular ever since. I have had some crazy short cycles, so I know I am not ovulating all the time. My job is also stressful, I teach special ed. I just had a full lab work up done, and my Prolactin level is a bit high(norm is 3-20, mine was 35). My OB put me on Clomid because of my messed up cycles and I didn't ovulate last cycle, either. DH got a SA done, and he has sperm issues.

I am a little nervous, tomorrow is day 1 of Clomid, I am doing CD 3-7. Should I be taking Mucinex right now, to help with CM? Any other suggestions?

Looking forward to seeing you ladies get some BFP's and hope there is one soon for me, too!

I used Mucinex and Evening Primerose Oil from when my Clomid stopped until I ovulated and I got some good EWCM this last cycle!

However (disclaimer) I am not nor have I ever been preggo so I'm not an expert either. Some of the other ladies probably have more experience.

Hi ladies. How is everyone doing today. I have woken uip on 13dpo and still literally feel no symptoms apart from being very vein which for me i noticed is more of a clomid side effect. I have tested today and got a faint positive. I def can see the line without streching my eyesight. But why do i feel less confident? Hope it sticks because i ahve no symptoms.. I moved from clomid 100mg to 50mg because i had strong side effects with 100mg and i am keeping my fingers crossed. f'xed for u all ladies

30 - at your poor DH! My DH point blank refused to do it there, so he went to a different hospital to me where you take the sample with you. He's having another one next month as they say you should have 2 but he never did. x

Congrats lubuto!! I haven't had any major symptoms either but I haven't had a period since my miscarriage and now have gotten a darker bfp today! Hopefully these are sticky for us!

first cycle 100mg, second cycle 100mg and got pregnant but MC at almost 8 weeks. Then tookl a break for four months and began TTC again this month but personally decided not to take 100mg because i had severe effects on second cycle. sticky bean to you and thanks again

Here's my experience with Clomid so far (and everyone's effects are a bit different). Clomid makes my ovaries and hormones go into overdrive. So, with that said, all the symptoms I have felt thusfar have been Ovulation and Luteal Phase (a.k.a. Progesterone increase) symptoms.

Pre-and-during O
-cramping in one or both ovaries
-night sweats
-increased weird sense of smell

Post-O
-continuous cramping from each ovary and centrally in abdomen (cramping does NOT feel like AF cramps exactly- a little different and usually mild), cramping also with occasional "radiating" down one or both legs, cramping near ribcage
-increased burping
-increased gas
-leaky urine feeling (not that bladder was over full, just that I was going to leak!)
-slight nausea (no puking though)
-fatigue
-WEEPY (a.k.a. unusually emotional, insecure, easy to upset)
-Up and down moods (slightly depressed to very happy to very stressed)
-Very high temps and zigzagging (between 98.2 - 100.1F)
-twinging/sore BBs
-bloating


There's my list! So I'm pretty sure that I will never trust early pregnancy symptoms ever during post-O. lol- totally unreliable if all these symptoms occur to me NOT preggo!

Hey there, i can totally understand what you are going through. My first cycle on Clomid made me believe i had conceived because of the numerous clomid side effects, only to get a BFN. Now i know better and i never believed until i tested. f'xed for you, hope u get your BFP

thanks so much for sharing. I am on CD 4 and ready to take my 2nd pill. Have been reading all the side effects and wondering if I will have some.

Thought I'd share my clomid reactions too:

nightsweats
moodiness (huge fights came out of it)
Bloated like crazy
dizziness
vaginal dryness (made sex difficult)

This month I'm on femara and so far, I have:

Bloated
joint aches

DH likes it so much better b/c I'm not moody on it.

I don't know, was very surprised myself. I'm only cd8 so its way early. I have an apptmt on tues for a scan so we shall see. If my follies are ready, we will do iui on wed, otherwise, we will have to do our own over the thanksgiimg wknd
