4 mths old switchig to FF

Hey everyone

Until now i have EBM my 4 months old but we are moving on to FF - personal choice so not going to bother explaining

My question is how much and how often does your LO take or taken at this stage just so i can have an idea

Multiply your baby's weight by 2.5 for about how many oz per day. They will likely want 6 bottles a day, so divide the number you get by 6 and start with that. Them you can start adding an ounce or so is they still seem hungry. Gabe is only 2.5 months and he takes 4 or 5 oz at a time, and has 7 bottles a day.

i would just recommend continuing to feed on demand and let a natural pattern emerge. on the cartons i have in the house it says about 30 oz a day so think about how many breastfeeds you are currently doing and divide 30-35 oz depending on weight between that number of feeds. i reckon you'll probably do about 5oz at a time - my LO is breastfed mostly but when he has formula feeds thats how much he has - he is 14 weeks and 13lb
