As the question says above :) My LO is 6 weeks on Saturday and is taking between 4-6 ounces (really seems to vary recently) and is going roughly 4 hours between feeds (6 at night) but again it really varies, sometimes less, sometimes longer :/ i'be tried waking him every 4 hours to get more of a routine but then he never seems to want it and just falls back to sleep!

Should he have more of a routine and set amount of ounces or am i worrying about nothing??

The recommended way of feeding is to feed on demand (however much baby wants, whenever he wants it) rather than to a schedule. As long as he seems content, is gaining weight and is having lots of wet and dirty nappies then all is well. Just let your baby guide you as to when he is hungry. xxx

My LO is 6 and a half weeks and that sounds about the same! Xx

my doctor told me that at 6 weeks my son should be eating 4 oz max
