7 year gap between children - am I back to square one?!

Theres a 5 year gap between my first and second. Labouring my frist was only 6 hours and it was the same with my second i did however feel i was back at square one with baby stuff.

There is 8 years between my 2nd and 3rd children, and no way was I back to square one!! I think your midwife is talking bull. Your body doesn't just 'forget'!!

There's 12and half between my current youngest and bump. My mw hasn't said anything to me. My body certainly hasn't forgot. I'm massive already at 6m due to what I presume is previous stretching and felt definite movement from 14 weeks.

My other 2 labours were almost identical aside in duration ... Neither were long. Praying this one is similar. My only fear is increase in size. Baby 1 was 7lb5 baby 2 was 8lb13. Hoping this one isn't much bigger than the last. I'm only little.

Seems a strange thing for your mw to say but maybe she's being cautious. I know I have many questions as I dont recall my last to pregnancies all that clearly so in that respect its like starting over.

Right before I have this baby, my son will turn 14 and my daughter will turn 16. Talk about starting over.

My midwife just told me that as there will be a 7 year gap between this baby and last, then I am back to square one when giving birth! This is my 4th child....any ladies out there left a gap between babies? Is the birth as hard and long as first time round?

I have 7 years between my 2nd and 3rd and it was harder than I remembered. I had an epideral with the first 2 and the epideral wore off with my 3rd. My doctor delivered all 3 and she was laughing at me bc I acted like I had never given birth before.lol.

And I thought I was brave with 12 year gap ... My eldest is 15 next week.

there will be a 14 year gap between mine this baby is my 2nd i was only in labour 4 hrs and 48 mins with my DS im hoping this one will be same lol my DS turns 14 in december.
