8 weeks or less and here we come baby!:)

wow you see the midwife twice a week :o how come?
have you had your 28 week app yet x

Should be exchanging tomorrow. Just waiting for the solicitor to email me the contract this afternoon. Then hopefully completing next Weds and should be moved in over Easter. That's the plan anyway! :)

No one since my 20 wk scan has told me which position baby is in, so I don't really know. A lot of the time my whole stomach feels solid so it's hard to be sure. We think that it swaps between being transverse and head down. A couple of weeks ago I felt Pip flip from breach to the right position and it wasn't a very pleasant feeling! I mostly get kicks and twitches around my belly button and on my right hand side parallel to my belly button, and scrabbly movements far over into both sides, and donks to my ribs.

My little man is breech i think hes always been that position cos most the kicks are down low. can they tell the position by feeling or do they have do another scan to see if hes moved? im a bit dubious cos i was told with my first her head was engaged and it wasnt anywhere near engaged it was too far up. so not sure if just by feeling with the hands is a good indecator or not? but i had scan yday and they said breech.

i am supposed to be moving next weekend x

I had high blood pressure with my first pregnancy but I only saw midwife once a week and had no scans. My blood pressure is fine now so far but I have to see midwife twice a week and have scans  xx

Forgot to say I had 28w appt yesterday, they did growth scan and he is measuring 2 weeks ahead. Bp was fine. He is head down. Hopefully your little one will turn, I think you have a scan. My SIL did but she had to have c section coz she didn't turn, they tried turning her too. Xx

what was baby measuring? did they tell you the weight?
they registar didnt mention anything else about another scan so dont know if i'll be getting another one. not even sure if you can request one to make sure what position he is in? oh i hope he turns lol most others seem to be head down now but it seems hes always been breech cos from 16weeks ive felt kicks really low down (thats were his feet are) and sometimes i feel thumps higher up but that would be his hands x

I had my scan at 27w 3d and he was measuring 29w 1d, didn't say how much he weighed. I hope he turns for you hun. I would have thought that they will check at a later appt, I remember them doing that with my first, if he is still in breech position then they will advise you then what the course of action will be I assume. Xx

I was told by my mw that it was too early to tell  Personally I felt some very uncomfortable churning and whooshing a couple of weeks ago and my bump dropped a little. Before it was very obvious that the baby's head was high underneath my rib cage. Now I'm not as high as I was.

They can (if they're good) tell by feeling, but they should send you for another scan nearer the end to be sure if they think you are breech. I think it's something they get wrong quite often.

yeah im hoping he wont be subborn for much longer cos i dont want a section or to be turned herd it not pleasant lol dont even know how they turn baby? just need see how the next apps what position he's in.

they told me average weight at 28weeks is 2lbs 2oz and he's 3lbs 4oz :D so pleased i was so worried about my weight gain cos i havnt gained. but its reasurring he is :D

I'm really low down always have been but hes not head down.
well im gona ask for another scan cos i want to be sure what position baby is in and not them tell me hes head down if hes not.
not sure if at 32weeks they can tell? i see doc at hospital at 34+4next time

see at 28weeks baby isnt that small. i dont think they know what they are doing half the time they feel your belly and then tell you they dont know well why do it then lol x

the registrar was trying to get me to go midwife led yday but personally i'd rather not have a midwife in charge of me x

Midwife/consultant can tell the position by feeling your tummy. You still have ages yet for baby to move (they dont worry about it until 36 weeks) so try not to panic just yet. x

thats onky 7 weeks not long when hes always been that position though.

He can still move up until when you give birth so if you were to go 2 weeks over then thats over 13 weeks. No point in worrying about it ATM.

well thats easy to say when your baby isnt breech ;-) lol
plus im due in 11weeks not 13 dont make it sound longer lol.

plus when you baby is breech they dont tend to just leave you to it, they intervene at 36weeks and offer a c section if they dont work usually before 40weeks.

so we will see if he moves worried cos my other 2 were not breech and he has never not been in the breech position so he will need to move before 36weeks.

I was only telling you what my midwife told me to try to stop you worrying but if you want to worry about it now then feel free! :dohh:

yeah but your baby isnt breech so why would you worry?
i think its natural to worry but your not in my position so... hey ho! he might turn he might not but your baby hasnt always been and still is in the same position. think its only natural for each of us to have our own worries. i will just need to wait and see.

Like I said I was just trying to help by telling you what the midwife told me. I didnt realise you had started a separate thread about it (where others have also told you not to worry about it yet) or I wouldnt have responded.
