Wow Misty, You're mom and my mom should get together and go bowling or something!

Do you still speak to your mom or was that it? Did things ever get better? Do you still speak with your ex's dad? What an awesome man he is!! I'm so happy that it worked out for you.

Yes, my mom and I eventually began speaking again. It took a while though. I kind of fell out of good graces with my ex father in law when I divorced his mental son. He told me my kids would end up in jail or hookers on the street because I was splitting the family up. Guess what? They're not! They graduated high school on time with good grades AND they didn't become a statistic and follow in their mother's teenage pregnant footsteps like they say is doomed to happen. So THERE! ppbbbllltttt!!!

Nicole, I'm not sure. I did it once though. You can find a card that you like and "edit" what it says to say what you want. You can even change the singing ones to play the songs you want. You have a list to choose from, but it's kinda neat. Go to the website and look around. I'll look too to see if I can help you out a bit more.

Ah, Nicole... 160 is a lot! Yeah, we found ours used at a consignment shop or wouldn't have gotten it as I'd planned on using pack n play in my room until baby used the crib. Just a convenient thing. Not a have to have.

Janelle- Oh cool.. love the attic idea! And I love the idea of room sharing! We'll see what I end up doing... I won't really need to decide for another year. Although would love to decorate before then if I'm going to have a second nursery. Although, really, play room is already decorated, drat. Gender neutral color palette with fun owls on the curtains and animals pictures on the walls.

But yeah I'd really love to keep all the mess to one room, ha.

Oh Misty.... your story made me cry!!! Wow you went through so much at such a young age!! So amazing you stood up for what you wanted when most teens would have bowed to their mom's demands/wishes because they didn't know what else to do. You took a scary path but worked it out on your terms!

I could always change the turkey speak one to- "Thats Turkey Speak for "Someone's baking TWO turkeys this Thanksgiving" or a simple "Mommy will be eating for TWO this Thanksgiving"

Nicole, go to the website, go to shop cards. you find a card you like click on it and click the "pesonalize" button, then have at it! You can't always edit the front, but you can edit the inside to say what ever you want as well as the song.

Misty i had to clean and go get some groceries...kids wanted chocolate milk and i was out of milk lol....i am back though and OMG you big ol meanie made me cry!!!!! i am so happy you got to keep you baby and in the end you are supper happy with your life. screw who ever says that crap about you! it sucks cuz you heard it for being a teen mom and now a mom in her thirties really what is the "right" age? i had my first when i turned 21 and people said i was too young then i had 2 more and had 3 under the age of 3 for 6 days before my oldest turned 3 yrs old as long as you are happy!!!! SCREW THEM lol

Janelle i love that! hope i get to say that! and i hope that i get to announce at christmas that i am prego to the rest of the family...told josh today that i want another baby damn it. and i dont care where we are living now cuz it does take 9 damn months to grow it so we still had plenty of time....

Lizzy what have you been up today? hows work going? oh potty chair thing i say do not get the ones that make music and what not...i never did i was always afraid they would view it as more of a toy. walmart has one that is shaped like a froggy in pink or green and my kids loved that one and its only like $13 good deal!
